Gaz Hughes - First Aid Training

BECOME A LIFESAVER WITH TRAINING BEAT

Saving a life is serious stuff.

I should know – I’ve been a Nurse in the NHS for 18 years, with 14 of those spent in the Emergency Department. I have real life experience of performing CPR and of seeing the benefits of early intervention to a patient’s chances of survival.

And that’s why I set up Training Beat, using my Nursing background to run a broad range of sensibly-priced First Aid and Basic Life Support courses at your workplace, your school and at accessible venues throughout Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

Join one of my First Aid at Work or Basic Life Support training or awareness sessions and learn to become a lifesaver too.

Training for Businesses

My fully accredited First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work training sessions are sensibly priced and suitable for everyone who needs this training for their work.

Training for Schools

My awareness sessions in first aid and basic life support are suitable for younger people. They are a fun and immersive way to give under 16s practical knowledge of CPR techniques and a real understanding of why these skills are so important.

I offer accredited training to school staff on- or off-site including:

  • First Aid at Work,

  • Emergency First Aid at Work,

  • Paediatric First Aid,

  • Emergency Paediatric First Aid.

Training for Groups & Individuals

For groups or individuals who want to learn Basic Life Support and First Aid and to understand how these skills can make a difference in an emergency situation, my accredited training sessions are held throughout the year at accessible venues and convenient times, across Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

On-site training can also be provided for groups of up to 12 people.

Check out the current calendar on my Upcoming Events page.

Mini Medics sessions are a fun way for groups of children age 8-11 to learn about First Aid. These sessions are held on scheduled dates at local venues – check my Upcoming Events page for more details.

I learnt CPR and really liked it, I learnt what to do in an emergency. I give it 5 stars!
